 Office of Student Affairs

  Vice President for Student Affairs works directly with students to help solve problems and to assist in individual and group crisis management. Students are encouraged to visit staff in the office to discuss ideas, personal issues, or general concerns about student life at NTHU.

  The Office of Student Affairs is a general resource for students and will advocate for students when appropriate. Staff in the Office often help develop, articulate, disseminate and enforce University rules, regulations and policies.

 Division of Student Assistance

    The Division of Student Assistance is intended to help all students in solving difficulties occurring in school. It helps in maintaining and advancing both quality and convenience of student life. Our service also contains financial aid for emergency application, scholarships, student awards/discipline, and some other services related to student life.

  • Disadvantaged Student Support Office: Dedicated to providing disadvantaged students with more substantial support, accompaniment, and care.
  • Indigenous Students Resource Center: Dedicated to providing Indigenous students with comprehensive assistance, including support for daily life, academic and employment counseling, career development, and indigenous educational activities.

 Campus Security Center

  Dedicated to maintaining overall campus safety, the center is responsible for disaster prevention and rescue, traffic safety, preventing campus bullying, providing care services for students living off-campus, and promoting character education. In addition, it handles All-Out Defense education and military service administration. In the event of an emergency, the center has dedicated direct hotlines (Main Campus: 0910-538152; Nanda Campus: 0911-799474) to provide immediate assistance.

 Division of Student Activities

   The Division of Student Activities is the gateway for those who want to participate in school clubs or school activities at NTHU. A wide variety of school activities is held every year at NTHU, including university anniversary celebrations, Mei-Chu Games, summer and winter camps at NTHU. The Division of School activities plays a crucial role in giving assistance and guidance to student clubs and student activities. The Division of Student Activities is in charge of student club counseling, applications for student activities, applications for sites on campus, applications for club certificates and club evaluations. The mission of the Division of School Activities is to give students at NTHU a fuller and exciting college life.

 Division of Career Development

  Prepare students to plan their future career path in advance of graduation by providing campus recruitment information, featured column of famous figures and alumni interviews, company visits, enterprise talent development programs, Career assessment tools, career talks, enterprise mentor consultation and one-on-one career consultation.

 Division of Student Housing

   To fully experience university life, nothing compares to living on campus. Situated at the heart of university life, on-campus housing facilities are just a short walk away from classrooms, laboratories, libraries, and sports facilities. To help you get the most out of your time at NTHU, we offer a variety of on-campus housing options, all designed with three things in mind: convenience, comfort, and a sense of community. Our goal is to provide you with not just housing, but a home.

 Division of Health Service

   The mission of the Division of Health Service is to promote and enhance students' good health and well-being which supports students’ success and enhances the quality of campus life at NTHU. Our mission includes a strong educational component in order to promote healthful lifestyles and prepare students to become knowledgeable health care advocates and consumers. Convenient, prepaid health care, including health promotion and education, are integral student services which support students' learning, growth and achievement while at the University. Student Health supports and actively promotes the mental, social, and physical growth and development of the students in a healthy, safe, and intellectually challenging environment.

 Center of Counseling Services

   Mental Health services, peer groups, nutrition counseling, health and wellness information

   What we do

  • Personal counseling for undergraduate and graduate students on a broad spectrum of issues including those which may affect a student's academic performance.
  • Consultation with Institute faculty, staff, families and friends of students regarding a range of personal difficulties from adjustment issues and study problems to crisis situations and chronic distress.

  Special support to student groups including women, students of color, students with disabilities, and gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered students (including counseling, programs and special events).

 Office of Physical Education

   The mission of this Office, therefore, is to provide a conducive environment within which members of the Tsing Hua family will develope a love for sports and healthy habit of exercise.
