 Office of Student Affairs

The Vice President of Student Affairs works directly with students to help solve problems and assist with individual and group crisis management. Students are encouraged to visit staff in the Office to discuss ideas, personal issues, or general concerns about life at NTHU.

The Office of Student Affairs is a general resource for students and will advocate for students when appropriate. Our staff also help develop, communicate, disseminate and enforce University rules, regulations and policies.

 

 Division of Student Assistance

The Division of Student Assistance seeks to help students in resolving difficulties occurred at school. We help maintain and advance both quality and convenience of student life. Our service also encompasses financial aid for emergency application, scholarships, student awards/discipline, and other services related to student life.

 

 Division of Student Activities

The Division of Student Activities is a gateway for those who want to participate in school clubs or school activities at NTHU. A wide range of school activities are held every year at NTHU, including university anniversary celebrations, Mei-Chu Games, summer and winter camps. The Division of Students Activities plays a crucial role in providing assistance and guidance to student clubs and student activities. We are in charge of student club counseling, applications for student activities, reservation applications for sites on campus, applications for club certificates and club evaluations. The mission of the Division of Student Activities is to give NTHU students a fuller and enriching college life.

 

 Division of Career Development

Prepare students to plan their future career path in advance of graduation by providing campus recruitment information, featured column of famous figures and alumni interviews, company visits, enterprise talent development programs, Career assessment tools, career talks, enterprise mentor consultation and one-on-one career consultation.

 

 Division of Student Housing

To fully experience university life, nothing compares to living on campus. Situated at the heart of university life, on-campus housing facilities are just a short walk away from classrooms, laboratories, libraries, and sports facilities. To help you get the most out of your time at NTHU, we offer a variety of on-campus housing options, all designed with three purposes in mind: convenience, comfort, and a sense of community. Our goal is to provide you with not just housing, but a home.

 

 Division of Health Service

The Division of Health Service promotes and enhances student health and well-being, two essential requirements to attain a successful educational experience and quality campus life at NTHU. Our mission includes a strong educational component in order to promote healthy lifestyles and prepare students to become informed health advocates and consumers. Convenient, prepaid health care, including health promotion and education, are integral services that support students' learning, growth and achievement. We support and actively promote the mental, social, and physical well-being of our students in a healthy, safe, and intellectually stimulating environment.
 

 Counseling Center

We provide mental health services, peer groups, nutrition counseling, health and wellness information.
 
What we do
•Personal counseling for undergraduate and graduate students on a broad spectrum of issues including those which may affect a student's academic performance.
 
•Consultation with faculty, staff, families and friends of students regarding a range of personal difficulties from adjustment issues, study problems to crisis situations and chronic distress.
 
Special support is provided to student groups including women, students of color, students with disabilities, and gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered students (including counseling, programs and special events).

 

 Physical Education Office

The mission of this Office is to provide a conducive environment within which members of the Tsing Hua family can develop a love for sports and healthy habit of exercise.
